Parallel CFD 2000 was organized by SINTEF, NTNU, and Statoil, and was sponsored 
by Computational Dynamics, Compaq, Fluent, Fujitsu, Hitachi, HP, IBM, NEC, Platform, 
Scali, and SGI. 
The local organizers would like to thank the sponsors for their generous financial 
support and active presence at the conference. We are also grateful for the help and guidance 
received form Pat Fox and all the other members of the international organizing committee. 
We would like to especially thank G~nther Brenner, Kjell Herfjord, and Isaac Lopez, for
