ACKNOWLEDGMENT
In the past 4 years, I have taught graduate students who are seeking for
advanced degrees at National Cheng Kung University under the title of
“Bonding Theory for Metals & Alloys.” An arrangement was made between
the University and Elsevier so that the students could download the book
free of charges. I wish to acknowledge that, during these 4 years, many stu-
dents pointed out to me the misspelling to mis-notions in the book which
resulted in many corrections in this second edition. I wish to acknowledge
herewith with thanks for their contributions in this aspect.
