Biomolecules are used by organisms for various functions such as catalyzing reactions, storing information, building structures, etc.
Most biomolecules used by organisms are polymers.
The term macromolecule is used to designate molecules of 'large size', but it does not define what is meant by large size.
Lipids are the only biomolecules that generally do not form polymers.
