What is the Doppler color technique?

A technique that allows for real-time Doppler imaging of blood flow velocity.
It requires the transmission of 50-100 ultrasound pulses in each direction of the beam to determine blood velocity.
It uses autocorrelation processing of blood signals to quickly provide the average velocity of each small sample volume along the beam.
