What is the difference between precision and accuracy?
Precision is the degree of agreement among a number of measurements made in the manner indicated by the absolute error. Accuracy is an indication of how close a measurement is to the accepted value indicated by the relative error or the percentage error in the measurement. A high precision experiment has a low random error. A high accuracy experiment has a low systematic error.
