CALL FOR PAPERS 
SPECIAL ISSUE: ADVANCES IN GEOARCHEOLOGY AND ARCHAEOMETRY – RECENT 
RESEARCH IN LATIN AMERICA 
 
Due to the growing interest on multidisciplinary topics between the Exact Science and Archaeology, we invite 
new, original contributions dealing on physics, chemistry, geoscience, geology, pedology, geomorphology, and 
archaeometry applications to the archaeological heritage rescue in Latin America. We welcome methodological, 
experimental and theoretical contributions that elucidates the interactions between humans and environment 
as well as the origin and development of materials used since prehistory time. The manuscript should be 
elaborated according editorial policy of the journal: 
http://boletinsgm.igeolcu.unam.mx/bsgm/index.php/instrucciones-instructions 
and sent to one of the Editors before September 30th (or at earliest convenience). The special volume will be 
hopefully published by first semester of 2024. However, accepted papers will be available immediately online.

NÚMERO ESPECIAL: AVANCES EN GEOARQUEOLOGIA Y ARQUEOMETRIA – 
INVESTIGACIONES RECIENTES EN AMERICA LATINA 
 
Debido al creciente interés por temas interdisciplinarios entre las Ciencias Exactas y la Arqueología, invitamos 
a participar con contribuciones sobre física, química, geociencias, geología, pedología, geomorfología y 
arqueometría que puedan contribuir al estudio y conservación de patrimonio cultural y arqueológico de América 
Latina. Solicitamos contribuciones metodológicas, experimentales y teóricas que aporten información sobre 
las interacciones entre los seres humanos y el medio ambiente, así como el origen y el desarrollo de los 
materiales utilizados en el pasado. El manuscrito debe ser elaborado de acuerdo a la política editorial descrita 
en: 
http://boletinsgm.igeolcu.unam.mx/bsgm/index.php/instrucciones-instructions 
y enviado a uno de los editores a más tardar el 30 de septiembre. El volumen especial se publicará 
probablemente en el primer semestre de 2024. Sin embargo, los artículos aceptados se publicarán en línea 
inmediatamente.
