Currently, the most important printing technologies are: offset lithography, flexography, and gravure, however, digital printing is developing rapidly. The national printing industry presents the characteristics of the need for true technological innovation of products and processes, the creation of new business models, training and organization for digital technologies, the flexibility of materials and processes, improving productivity, seeking technological innovation strategies, the need for financing mechanisms, access to global markets. Based on open interviews, direct observation, and summary evaluation type Likert, four variables were determined that triggered the increase in the productivity of the lithographic plant. These variables are: technological modernization, prospective innovation, operational efficiency, and strategic leadership. It was also determined that to achieve technological modernization, it is necessary to first emphasize operational efficiency, participatory leadership, and idea generation.
