a. It is an epistolary novel written in the form of letters to a character named Guillermo, who in the novel can be said to be the conscience of young Werther, to whom he communicates his decisions and asks for advice.
b. The narrative time is linear, starting on May 4, 1771, and ending with Werther's burial on St. Stephen's Day.
c. The place where most of the time happens does not have a name, although Werther says, in the letter of May 26, that he has built his cabin a league away from the village of Wahlhiem (a name that according to the author is changed from the original for reasons he does not describe).
