What are the treatments for complex regional pain syndrome?
I- Rehabilitation treatment aims to maintain limb mobility, avoiding stiffness and muscle contracture associated with pain and reducing edema. II- Hyperbaric chamber. III- Analgesics and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are used to treat pain. Morphine and derivatives are used for severe pain. IV- Tricyclic antidepressants (amitriptyline) are useful in all phases of this disease, especially if the pain is constant.
