Who is considered the inventor of the current game of Volleyball?
William Morgan is considered the inventor of the current game of Volleyball. Morgan was born in the state of New York (USA) and studied at the YMCA college in Springfield. Morgan needed a recreational game that would allow him to make his classes more dynamic. Morgan's first idea was to use tennis as a basis for the game, but it required rackets, balls, and other equipment, so he eliminated it. Morgan contacted the Spalding A.G & Bros. company to manufacture a ball for the game. The first rules and basic concepts of the game were designed by Dr. Franklin Wood and John Lynch. a) James Naismith b) William Morgan c) Luther Halsey Gulick d) Franklin Wood e) John Lynch
