The effectiveness of plyometric exercise derives from the conditioning of the neurological mechanism and the elastic properties of the muscle. Plyometric training is less specific to the demands of football than the development of techniques and should therefore be used as a complement to the main training. Before starting power plyometric exercises, make sure your athletes can perform the exercises with rhythm.
