What is the principle proposed by Max Born?

Max Born proposed an interpretation that allows the reconciliation of Heisenberg's mechanics and Schrödinger's wave theory.
According to Born, the square of Schrödinger's wave function gives the probability of finding the electron at a point in space at a given time.
It is not possible to speak of defined orbits, but of regions of space in which there is a high probability of finding the electron.
