The therapy can be performed with caution in people with coagulation disorders if the technique is performed by an experienced physiotherapist. The therapy should not be performed in people with thrombosis or general dynamic edema, open wounds or skin alterations, severe undiagnosed trauma, allergies to adhesive materials, or suspected metastases. The therapy should not be performed in cases of fractures, edema, circulatory problems, significant wounds, or allergy to materials used.
