Point-to-Point (P2P)
Point-to-Point (P2P) is a UNC transportation service for 
students, faculty, and staff, operated by UNC Transportation 
& Parking (T&P). P2P provides fare-free-at-boarding, evening 
fixed-route shuttle services and on-demand transport. For on-
demand service, call 919-962-7867.
P2P Express
Daily, 7 p.m. - 4 a.m.
P2P Express is a fare-free, fixed-route bus service for all UNC 
students and employees that operates during the fall and 
spring academic semesters when all UNC residence halls 
are open. The P2P Express runs on a regular schedule and 
serves designated P2P stops marked by signs on campus. 
P2P Express doesn’t operate on University-recognized holidays 
when dorms are closed or during breaks. See the P2P Express 
route map on the back of this flyer.
P2P Summer Express runs a modified route during summer 
academic semesters (see the route online). Check out this 
flyer’s After-Dark Service section for service between 4 a.m. 
and 6 a.m. arranged through P2P dispatch at 919-962-7867.
P2P Shuttle Service
Library Safe Ride Shuttle
Mondays - Thursdays, 12 a.m. - 3 a.m.
A P2P van provides continuous service from the Student Union 
bus pull-out during the Fall and Spring Semesters. This service 
provides a direct link from the libraries and the Student Union 
to campus housing locations including Granville Towers and 
sorority/fraternity houses.
Law Library Shuttle
Mondays - Thursdays, 5 p.m. - 9 p.m.
A van provides continuous service between the Law School Lot 
and the “T” Lot during Fall and Spring Semesters.
RR Lot Night Service
Mondays - Fridays, 10:30 p.m. - 3 a.m.;
Saturdays, on-demand after 10:45 p.m.;
Sundays, 11:30 p.m. - 3 a.m.
A P2P van provides continuous service between the RR Lot on 
Estes Drive and campus P2P stops every 30 minutes during 
the Fall and Spring Semesters. The NU Route operated by 
Chapel Hill Transit provides service to this lot at other times.
RDU Airport Shuttle
P2P buses provide a fare-free RDU Airport Shuttle service 
which is available to students for Fall Break, Thanksgiving 
and Spring Break. Details are posted on the T&P website in 
advance.
P2P On-Demand
P2P demand response services provide van transportation to 
meet specific travel needs. Rides for On-Demand Service can 
be requested by contacting 919-962-7867.
Accessibility Service
P2P provides van service to all qualified University and UNC 
Healthcare students and employees with accessibility needs 
between campus buildings and parking lots. This service is 
available 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday. On Saturdays 
and Sundays, the disability shuttle runs from 9:00 a.m. until 
5:00 p.m. P2P accessibility services require a P2P Access 
Card which can be obtained through Campus Health Services, 
the Department of Accessibility Resources and Service, or 
Parking Services. P2P vans are equipped with wheelchair lifts.
Chapel Hill Transit and GoTriangle buses are ADA accessible 
with stops located throughout the community and region. 
Chapel Hill Transit provides EZ Rider service for qualified 
riders, and GoTriangle provides T-Linx.
After-Dark Service
Daily, 7 p.m. - 6 a.m.
P2P provides After-Dark rides for students and employees. 
Pickup and drop-off points are limited to on-campus locations 
or specific off-campus locations owned by the University. P2P 
does not offer service to buildings that are normally closed, 
for example, during the evening or weekend hours or to Park 
& Rides unless it is for an Emergency Ride Back. After-Dark 
Service provides rides to students who are not served by the 
P2P Express route and to employees. Students with pick-up 
and drop-off points on the P2P Express route are eligible for 
the on-demand van service from 4 a.m. – 6 a.m.
Campus Health
P2P provides transportation to and from campus locations 
and Campus Health Services (during hours of operation)
or UNC Hospitals’ Emergency Room which is available to 
students during all hours of operation. NOTE: Emergency 
conditions requiring treatment en route such as bleeding or 
other severe health issues must be addressed to the Orange 
County EMS service (Call 911).
Emergency Ride Back
The Commuter Alternative Program (CAP) is a UNC program 
developed to assist and reward faculty, staff, and students 
who choose to take the bus, rideshare, bike or walk to 
campus. CAP members can utilize Emergency Ride Back 
services offered from campus locations to Park & Rides and 
other locations within Chapel Hill or Carrboro in situations of a 
qualified emergency. For information on CAP, visit cap.unc.edu.

P2P Express serves designated bus stops on 
campus every 15 minutes.
• Adhere to all driver requests.
• Wait for riders to exit before boarding.
• Do not board bus if it is already at capacity.
• Check seat area for belongings before exiting.
• No smoking, drinking, eating, yelling or using profanity.
• Offer first row seats to patrons requiring accessible seating.
• Do not participate in activities that distract the driver or are unsafe to other riders.
P2P may suspend or detour service during 
operating hours due to traffic congestion
caused by large events impacting 
campus.
