La resolución de la inecuación cuadrática dependerá del coeficiente principal a y del discriminante ∆ = b2 − 4ac de p(x) = ax2 + bx + c. 4 / 22 INECUACIONES N Inecuaciones cuadráticas Inecuaciones de segundo grado Definición Una inecuación cuadrática, es aquella que tiene una de las siguientes formas: • ax2 + bx + c < 0 • ax2 + bx + c > 0 • ax2 + bx + c ≤ 0 • ax2 + bx + c ≥ 0 donde a, b y c son números reales (a 6= 0) y x ∈ R es la incógnita.
