What is the differential diagnosis for complex regional pain syndrome?
I- In the initial phase, infectious arthritis, rheumatic arthritis, inflammatory arthropathy, peripheral arteriopathy, and deep vein thrombosis should be considered. II- In the chronic phase (with sequelae), Dupuytren's disease, scleroderma, and plantar fasciitis should be considered. III- In hip involvement, coxitis and osteonecrosis should be ruled out. IV- If there is bone demineralization, it is advisable to rule out stress fractures, osteoporosis, and benign and malignant bone tumors.
