What does it imply to sign a title value?

Whoever signs a title value is obliged to a performance against the holder of the title, or whoever becomes such, and does not subordinate that obligation to any acceptance or consideration.
On the contrary, the beneficiary or holder of a title value, through the exchange action, can judicially demand payment of the literal content of the title value.
Therefore, whoever signs a bill of exchange, for example, is obliged to pay it on the maturity date incorporated in the title, and the beneficiary of the bill can collect it judicially if the debtor refuses to pay it.
