What is the algorithm for advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation?

The advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation algorithm includes a set of techniques, maneuvers, and knowledge aimed at applying definitive treatment in situations of cardiac arrest, ensuring the replacement of circulatory and respiratory functions until they recover.
The clinical picture will be derived from a manifest circulatory arrest in which the following stands out: unconsciousness, absence of peripheral and central pulses, cyanosis, apnea or gasping (breathing in 'gasps').
The treatment of cardiac arrest in the hospital will be carried out following the advanced life support action algorithm. In this, after confirming the cardiac arrest, the following steps will be taken: opening the airway and ventilation, cardiac massage, placement of the monitor-defibrillator, and administration of drugs and fluids.
