What are the normas biomecânicas for mobilization and transfer of dependent patients?
a) Plan the work to be done and the distance to be covered if carrying a load. b) Clear the path to be traveled, if any. c) Place your feet well: firmly supported on the ground, in a stable manner, slightly separated from each other and with the foot in the direction of movement. d) Keep your back straight. e) Flex your legs. f) Bring the body of the person being helped as close as possible. When moving a dependent person, their body should be kept very close to the caregiver's body, thus distributing the load better. g) Secure grip. The caregiver must firmly hold the person in a dependent situation to prevent falls. h) Expand the caregiver's support base. The caregiver's feet should be separated to increase balance, with one of the toes pointing in the direction of movement and the other slightly flexed to move with the legs and not strain the back. i) Synchronize movements. A counterweight must be created when moving the person, performing the movements at the same time, both the person in a dependent situation and the caregiver. This reduces their weight to less than half.
