What is the difference between cause and factor in criminology?
Cause is the necessary condition without which a certain behavior would never have occurred. Factor is everything that favors criminal behavior in any way. Cause is the element that leads a particular subject to perform an antisocial behavior. Factor causal is the one that, being an impelling factor for committing the crime in general, leads a subject in particular to commit it.
