a) High levels of C-reactive protein, factor VII and VIII, Von Willebrand, XIII, and decreased levels of protein S and C, thrombomodulin and antithrombin III.
b) High levels of LDL antibodies, soluble CD-40 ligand, and anti-cardiolipin antibodies.
c) Hypertriglyceridemia, hyperhomocysteinemia, thrombocytosis, polycythemia, diabetes mellitus, and dehydration.
d) Deshydration, infections, cocaine abuse, and postprandial state.
