Diary in Oymyakon, Russia "The coldest village in the world".

Day 1:

Today I just arrived to Oymyakon the coldest village in the world, with a metal
thermometer I took the temperature and it was -50 degrees, even with all the
clothes I have I feel like I am freezing, then I went to my hotel called "Olumu" it was
the only hotel I found near the area, in the afternoon I went to visit a small village of
Oymyakon when I arrived I was asked to taste local delicacies and then we sat
down to watch a musical and spiritual performance, the leader of the group played
the ceremonial drum while the children sang. A shaman was also present and her
native attire really stood out, as did her singing. All the children had Khomus and
played some local songs to the beat of the ceremonial drums.

another tourist who spoke Spanish he told me that he comes here every year and
told me the following: The monument represents a tribute to the record of the
lowest temperature (-71. 2C) 96F in a habitable area, the monument consists of a
concrete sculpture of a bull representing the cold and, to the left of the bull, there is
a monument showing the record temperature (the record temperature was
recorded in 1924),he also recommended me to visit other attractions like: the river,
the war memorial, the weather station and the 50th anniversary monument, I
