A pagaré is a promissory note that incorporates a promise to pay a certain amount of money and has executive merit. The payment of a pagaré can be conditioned, except for the due date. A pagaré can only be created in a proforma document. The requirements for a pagaré to be considered a valuable title are found in the Colombian Commercial Code.
