The teacher tries to communicate and use English most of the time, repeats several times, and even tries to use different words to achieve good understanding. In addition, he also makes gestures and movements.
He challenges students to understand English since he speaks in English all the time and only translates some words in specific moments and if necessary.
The instructions are communicated in English, but it is also when necessary that he used Spanish. He gave complete and appropriate instructions explained step by step. The activity was to write an anecdote using past tenses in English.
The teacher induces, encourages, and motivates them to use English since he demands that when addressing him and communicating with each other, it is in English. In a moment of the class, a student made a mistake, and what the teacher did was not to judge him or give him a bad grade but to correct him and even looked for help on his computer on how to pronounce the word he had said wrong.
