The combustion is maintained constant during a certain space of the expansion stroke and is represented by a line at constant pressure.
The introduction of fuel is regulated so that it lasts from TDC until the piston has traveled part of its downward stroke.
The pressure at the end of the compression is around 30 to 35 bars and the temperature reached is around 6000 C.
The valve of aspiration is completely opened during the admission stroke.
