What are the leptons and hadrons particles? What are quarks? What is the atomic number or nuclear charge (Z)? What is the number of neutrons (n)? What is the mass number (A)?

I. Leptons are particles of light mass and weak interaction. Among them, we have the electron, neutrino, and muon.
II. Hadrons are heavy particles compared to leptons and are made up of quarks. They are divided into two groups: baryons and mesons.
III. Quarks are the smallest particles that make up matter and are elementary particles of matter. There are at least six different varieties of quarks: up, down, strange, charmed, bottom, and top.
IV. The atomic number or nuclear charge (Z) is the number of protons in the nucleus of an atom.
V. The number of neutrons (n) is the number of neutral particles in the nucleus of an atom, n = A - Z.
VI. The mass number (A) is the sum of the number of protons and neutrons in the nucleus of an atom, A = Z + N.
