CRITERIO/CAPACIDAD Al finalizar la sesión, el estudiante aplica la regla de la cadena para hallar la derivada de una función compuesta; deduce las fórmulas para hallar las derivadas de funciones trigonométricas, logarítmicas, exponenciales y trigonométricas inversas. DERIVADA DE UNA FUNCIÓN COMPUESTA REGLA DE LA CADENA Si ℎ es derivable en 𝑥 y 𝑔 es derivable en ℎ 𝑥 , entonces la función compuesta 𝑓 = 𝑔 ∘ ℎ definida mediante 𝑓 𝑥 = 𝑔 ℎ(𝑥) es derivable en 𝑥, y 𝑓′ está dada por el producto En la notación de Leibniz, si 𝑦 = 𝑔(𝑢) y 𝑢 = ℎ(𝑥) son funciones derivables, entonces 𝑑𝑦 𝑑𝑥 = 𝑑𝑦 𝑑𝑢 ∙ 𝑑𝑢 𝑑𝑥 𝑓′ 𝑥 = 𝑔′ ℎ 𝑥 ∙ ℎ′(𝑥) EJEMPLO 1: Dada la función 𝑓 𝑥 = 𝑥2 + 1. SI f tiene su función inversa sobre I entonces es derivable en I. Además: 𝑓−1(𝑥) ´ = 1 𝑓´(𝑓−1(𝑥)) DERIVADA DE LAS FUNCIONES LOGARÍTMICAS La Función Logarítmica es la función inversa de la función exponencial. (2x+6) 5. f(x) = Sec( 3 x2 + 6x -1) → f’(x) = Sec (3x2 + 6x – 1) tg (3x2 + 6x -1)(6x+6) FUNCIONES TRIGONOMETRICAS INVERSAS Sea 𝑓 𝑥 = 𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑥 , 𝑥 ∈ [−𝜋/2. 𝜋/2]; la función inversa de 𝑓 es definido como: 𝑓−1 𝑥 = 𝑎𝑟𝑐𝑠𝑒𝑛𝑥, 𝑥 ∈ −1,1 . DERIVACIÓN DE FUNCIONES TRIGONOMÉTRICAS INVERSAS 1.
